International Organizations Médecins Sans Frontières
International organizations today are categorized by two things; either they are here to help us make the world a better place or prevent it from happening. And if so, what makes an international organization good and how can we prove this? A fine example of an international medical humanitarian organization is Doctors Without Borders, also known as Mà ©decins Sans Frontià ¨res. This organization was created by a group of French doctors and journalists after looking at the aftermath of wars that were happening around them at the time. This organization was made to help those in need, to victims of natural or man-made disasters regardless of their race, religion, culture, creed or political beliefs. Not only do Mà ©decins Sans Frontià ¨res provides assistance to the people by giving quality health care, but they also help the minorities by speaking out for them, bringing attention to significant problems or issues that were overlooked and publicly recommending better medical treat ments and protocols (About Us). Although not everyone believes that most humanitarian organizations out there do things out of sincerity and not fame, and no matter how dangerous or risky these voluntary works are, these organizations still continue to do what they do best in hopes that their efforts will make a positive change in the world one day.
